Health and Safety is paramount in everything we do, and this emphasis is reflected in our excellent safety record and constant effort to improve.
Our approach to Health and Safety is based on the idea of personal commitment and individual empowerment. We believe everyone has a right to return home safely every day, and a duty to take care of themselves and those around them.
Our excellent Health & Safety record is achieved through:

Training at Apex Sprayed Concrete & Construction Ltd
We continually undertake regular reviews of individual employee’s progress and training needs and consider this to be vital to our continued commercial success. By monitoring our training needs we ensure that our team of professionals are fully qualified and trained to the highest standard.
All our onsite workforce are fully trained and qualified, whose work is monitored by our Health & Safety officer and Supervisors. In addition to their qualifications, our onsite workforce are also given the necessary Plant and Tool operator training they need to carry out their work (e.g. Concrete pump; Mobile Platform, Abrasive wheels, Manual Handling etc.).
Where specific projects have dictated, we have also undertaken specialist training and are able to offer employees qualified face fit testing.
We increase safety awareness and competence with additional training through toolbox talks on several subjects such as: Working at Heights; Site Management and Safety; Safety Awareness and Risk Assessment.
